Season’s Experts: Redfoo, Sky Blu and the Party
Rock
crew
“My dad is probably the most successful person I’ve ever met in my life. He’s a winner and a competitor. He wins at anything he does,” continues Foo. “He breaks things down into little philosophies like, ‘Direction is more important than speed,’ and ‘Everything doesn’t happen for the best, but make the best out of everything that happens.’” Although the two, who are close in age, describe their elders as “dinosaurs” and each other as “the family black sheep,” they definitely inherited strong business-savvy natures. As Redfoo explains, “We watch the game, but there’s a new model. I guess you could say it’s a 360 model – we do everything ourselves. The last thing I wanted to be was a great artist, and broke.” Sky Blu adds, “The album is an evolution of who we are. You can see the growth of our musical creativity throughout the whole album.” Using the traditional model as a reference, they have duly studied the game and become somewhat expert in partying ways. As Sky Blu tells it, “We train to party. You see that flight of 25 stairs? I’m going to be running it 10 times after this interview. That’s why we drink so much water – it’s keeping our bodies in shape. When we have the time, we get these natural juices to cleanse the body.” The duo, as Redfoo remarks, is “an exaggeration. LMFAO and the Party Rock crew is us, in hyper colours.” And that means a whole lot of Patron, Belvedere, and tons of polka-dot-bikinied girls... Self-proclaimed “porn stars,” Redfoo and Sky Blu have a thing or two to say about sex and relationships. This is why Naked Eye chose them to answer your raunchiest questions. Turn the page to read their thoughts on getting the rust off your nuts, sexual positions that offer prime view, and whether or not your spouse is cheating. |

LMFAO
is nothing to laugh at when it comes time to party. Redfoo and Sky
Blu, two artists from Los Angeles, California, have been hyping up
North American clubs since the release of their album Party
Rock
last April. Hits such as “I’m in Miami Bitch” and “Shots”
were remixed and held top spots in DJs’ playlists throughout
summer. One could say that the uncle/nephew pair pretty much fell
into the potion at a young age. “It’s safe to say we grew up in
the business,” Redfoo informs us, in reference to his father, the
legendary Berry Gordy (founder of Motown Records and responsible for
artists such as The Supremes, Stevie Wonder and The Jackson 5).
